The Yielding Rules:
When speaking on the General Speakers List (GSL), if you finish your speech before your allotted time expires, you must yield your remaining time:
- Yield to the Chair: Returns remaining time to the dais; debate moves to the next speaker immediately.
- Yield to Questions / Points of Information: Allows delegates to ask questions within your remaining time.
- Yield to Another Delegate: Passes your remaining seconds to an ally (who must accept, and cannot yield the time again).
(Note: Yields are strictly used during formal GSL speeches, not during moderated caucuses.)
Automated Yield Logic:
